Replica Milestone by the A572, Newton Road, Lane Head
Carved stone post by the A572, in parish of GOLBORNE (WIGAN District), Newton Road; Lane Head, on the verge at entrance to Toby Carvery, on West side of road. St Helens stone, original erected by the Bolton & St Helens turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LOWTON TO BOLTON 11 MILES TO ST.
