Spacious semi-detacheds in Hale
Typical of houses in Grange Avenue and similar parts of Hale. House prices in Hale, Hale Barns, Altrincham and Bowdon are more in line with the Home Counties than with the North West as a whole. In fact, this fairly small area of South Manchester/North Cheshire is in the top 10% of the UK, by wealth, with considerable numbers of self-employed and professional people, and unemployment of around 1.7%. There is also demand for housing by families from elsewhere who are, in part, attracted by the high performing (Grammar) schools in the catchment area of Trafford.
