Brooks Drive
The southern extremity of an unusually long road and green lane, named for the Brooks family which exerted a significant influence as landowners and MPs in south Manchester for several generations. Brooks Drive
A former tree lined carriage drive for commuters towards Brooklands railway station. This part of the route is not indicated as part of a cycle route. Behind the camera the original carriage route is now a road Roaring Gate Lane into Davenport Green.
