Welcome to Sale
A boundary sign welcoming folk to the town of Sale in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. This particular sign is located above Siddall's Bridge - which crosses the Sinderland Brook along the A56 "Washway Road", and lies along Sale's boundary with Altrincham, also in Trafford and Greater Manchester. The emblem on the welcome sign is the coat of arms of Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, which was created in 1974.
