Broadheath (Altrincham) Station
View westward, towards Warrington and Liverpool; ex-London & North Western (Liverpool) - Ditton Junction - Warrington (Bank Quay, Low Level) - Stockport/Timperley - Manchester (London Road) line. The station closed to passengers on 10/9/62 when this minor route between Liverpool and Manchester lost its passenger service, local goods ceased on 28/12/64, but the line remained as a main freight route until 7/7/85.

Bridgewater Canal - Budenberg HAUS Projekte Apartments
Two modern apartment blocks (the Budenberg HAUS Projekte - http://www.architecture.com/Awards/RIBAAwards/Winners2007/NorthWest/Budenberg/BudenbergHAUSProjekte.aspx ) at the side of the Bridgewater Canal at Broadheath. Opened in 2003, the apartment blocks are the first part of a larger regeneration project along the canalside.
