Budenberg HAUS Projekte

Bridgewater Canal, Linotype Works
The massive Linotype Machinery Company works built in 1897 on the south bank of the Bridgewater Canal. It is the only substantial complex left on the Broadheath Industrial Park, which had the distinction of being the world's first industrial park, pre-dating Trafford Park by a decade.

Bridgewater Canal - Budenberg HAUS Projekte Apartments
Two modern apartment blocks (the Budenberg HAUS Projekte - http://www.architecture.com/Awards/RIBAAwards/Winners2007/NorthWest/Budenberg/BudenbergHAUSProjekte.aspx ) at the side of the Bridgewater Canal at Broadheath. Opened in 2003, the apartment blocks are the first part of a larger regeneration project along the canalside.
