Luxury spoil heap
Ashley Road, Hale/Altrincham border: preparations for the building of new apartments for the not 'just managing' home seeker. With good reason, BBC News recently identified Altrincham as the most expensive housing area, in the UK, outside London. In fairness, more affordable house building is currently taking place in local districts such as Broadheath, but many larger homes in Hale/Altrincham/Bowdon attract a £1M + price tag.
