Altrincham Market Hall
Altrincham's Victorian Market Hall, at the corner of Shaw's Road and Market Street, was built in 1879. It is a listed building.

Empty stalls in Altrincham (today is Thursday)
An open market started on Tuesdays near here in 1290, by Royal Charter. Market days were extended to Fridays and Saturdays as well. The glazed roof in the photograph was completed on the present site in 1930
