This sculpture features the Altrincham Station clock tower [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5373962], some cogs and a train emerging from a tunnel. It was carved by local tree sculptor Andy Burgess from a London plane tree in 2016. The tree had been cut down to open up the area at the corner of Stamford New Road and Stamford Street to create a more open, welcoming space.
