The old hospital Image has been demolished and a new one opened nearby Image I recall being treated here at least twice as a child, and my memories of the place are not pleasant.

Site of the old Altrincham Hospital
The old Altrincham Hospital adjacent to Regent Road and Market Street, has recently been demolished. It is now possible to see the Altrincham Market building from Regent Road, although once the site is redeveloped, this will probably not be possible again.
