"The Railway" pub at Heatley
The railway from which the pub takes its name closed in the 1980s, and has been converted to a cycle track (part of the Trans-Pennine Trail). Alas, by 2009 the pub had closed. See: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1337678

Trans Pennine Trail, Heatley
Using the trackbed of the Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway between Stockport and Warrington. The line closed to passengers in 1962, but remained a freight line until 1985. Despite being muddy, it appears to be a popular rails to trails conversion.
