The Bridgewater Canal Lymm
The village of Lymm Cheshire close to Warrington. The canal passes through the village on either side. The whitewashed cottage is about as close as you can get to the water's edge. Over the bridge to the right of the photo are a few old public houses, returning to this cottage on a night when trying not to spill a drop of the hard stuff that you have drunk and not fall in the canal must be an achievement. Thankfully the narrow path leading down the side of the cottage from the bridge has a railing to stop reluctant swimmers from falling in.
