Bridge Street , Warrington
This street is pedestrianised for part of its length and runs down the hill from Golden Square to the River Mersey. It was here on 20 March 1993 that the IRA exploded the bomb that killed two children.

"It's all going on in Warrington"
This young lady belts out an aria or two in her terrific voice on Bridge Street, Warrington. She was competing, unfortunately, with a loud Patagonian troupe which spoiled it somewhat. She's a regular of the town centre along with another chap who gamely performs soul standards to a surprisingly high standard until he's raised about a fiver whereupon he scuttles into BetFred.

Garnett's Cabinet Works demolition, Warrington
The demolition of Garnett's Cabinet Works nears completion. The iconic water tower has been dismantled and efforts to complete the remaining work can be seen through what remains of the side wall on Barbauld Street. I have attempted to record the changes here over the last few years - past photographs of mine include:

Holy Trinity Church
A chapel of ease known as Trinity Chapel was built on the site in 1708 to relieve pressure on the parish church of St Elphin's but by the 1750s the chapel was too small for its congregation and in 1758 subscriptions were raised, the new church being consecrated in 1760.
