Buttermarket Street, Warrington, Easter 2017
Looking west up Buttermarket Street on the Saturday of the Easter bank holiday weekend. In the distance you can see the distinctive clock tower of the Holy Trinity church while in the foreground a building currently occupied by Blue Apple Heroes, a charity trust for military veterans and their families.

Glacial Erratic
A glacial erratic is a piece of rock that differs from the size and type of rock native to the area in which it rests, this large boulder was carried by ice to Warrington during the ice age, it probably originated in the Lake District.

Society of Friends Meeting House
This is the peaceful garden at the rear of the Society of Friends Meeting House established around 1720. The family of Joseph Crosfield who established the soap and chemical manufacturing business in Warrington had been Quakers since its beginnings in the 17th century.
