Market Gate
Market Gate is the meeting point of Warrington's four main streets; Horsemarket Street, Buttermarket Street, Bridge Street and Sankey Street. The green sculpture, seen here in front of Holy Trinity Church, is one of 10 "skittles", part of an award-winning design by American artist Howard Ben Tre. The sculpture represent the Ten Guardians and the Well of Light; the Ten Guardians symbolising the people who have protected or worked for Warrington.

Ten green bottles
This sculpture consisting of 10 green 'skittles' was designed by American artist Howard Ben Tré and is situated exactly in the centre of Warrington where Sankey Street, Bridge Street, Buttermarket Street and Horsemarket Street all converge.
