"It's all going on in Warrington"
This young lady belts out an aria or two in her terrific voice on Bridge Street, Warrington. She was competing, unfortunately, with a loud Patagonian troupe which spoiled it somewhat. She's a regular of the town centre along with another chap who gamely performs soul standards to a surprisingly high standard until he's raised about a fiver whereupon he scuttles into BetFred.

Holy Trinity Church
A chapel of ease known as Trinity Chapel was built on the site in 1708 to relieve pressure on the parish church of St Elphin's but by the 1750s the chapel was too small for its congregation and in 1758 subscriptions were raised, the new church being consecrated in 1760.

Where Buttermarket Street, Horsemarket Street, Sankey Street and Bridge Street intersect at Market Gate, there is a large fountain and "guardians" (known locally as "the skittles") designed by Howard Ben Tré.
