Newton-le-Willows railway station, Lancashire, 2015
Opened as "Newton Bridge" in 1830 by the Liverpool & Manchester Railway, later part of the London & North Western Railway, the station name was changed to "Newton-le-Willows" in 1888.
View west towards Earlestown and Liverpool, a few years before the station was largely rebuilt. This 1845 building was retained in the new station - see Image
