Liverpool train.
40100 with a train for Liverpool on the original Liverpool and Manchester Railway. The bridge in the background carries the M6 over the line whilst on the land to the right was Parkside colliery. There was a rail connection to this colliery from the tracks in the foreground which entered the site just before the motorway overbridge.
