From the South-East. A rather unusual building - the all-brick building on the right is the former school. Apart from the cross on the "East" end, you would have to guess what the building was.

Church Road, Haydock
Church Road, the A599, cuts through the centre of Haydock south of the East Lancashire Road (A580). Comparison of the 1940's map with the present shows that a network of railway lines that criss-crossed the area south of here no longer exist. From SJ56129690 looking eastwards.
