Remains of railway bridge parapet at entrance to King George V Playing Field
The bridge once stood over the ex Great Central Railway line that ran from St Helens to Lowton St Mary's. The bridge itself carried a colliery line from pits in Haydock to spoil tips which are now recreational grounds.
