Cowley Language College
Now mixed gender for approx 1200 pupils, previously Cowley Boys (Grammar) school, it is currently undergoing a further transformation scheduled for Phase 1 completion in Sept 2009. The core buildings in the photograph will stay.

Windleshaw Chantry
The Chantry was erected in 1435 by Sir Thomas Gerard as thanksgiving for his return from the wars. This small cemetery within a cemetery contains many interesting old graves.

Gatehouses, St. Helens Cemetery
St. Helens' Hard Lane Cemetery in Windleshaw opened in 1858 and includes within its grounds the Crematorium, Chapel and a memorial garden that opened in 1962.

Abbey Road
A restricted byway with what appear to be two former lodges to the Windleshaw Abbey Cemetery. The entrance to the small cemetery and the historic chantry chapel is between the lodges.
