not to be confused with the nearby more recent Brentford Dock,
both along the banks of the Grand Union Canal.

Canal boats at Brentford
The boats nearest the camera are wide beam, Draak (no46874) and Courage. The outer of two narrowboats beyond is Gilgie (515941). The footbridge beyond is 209b taking the towpath across into the Augustus Close housing estate.

This must be No 50724, Length : 38.5 metres ( 126 feet 4 inches ) - Beam : 4.99 metres ( 16 feet 4 inches ) - Draft : 0.9 metres ( 2 feet 11 inches ) - probably so big it can't get much further up the canal.

Eyecatching scene
It's amazing how different people at different times are attracted by the same relatively non-descript place - see Image, which I didn't see until I came to upload mine
