Egham station: north end
The platforms at this end of the station are staggered. The train seen arriving here was on a stopping service from Waterloo to Weybridge. The four aspect colour light signal is an older type that had not yet been replaced with the more efficient LED version.

Egham station: passing trains
The Juniper train on the left was the 10.50 limited-stop service from London Waterloo to Reading. See Image for the type of train that operated the same service a generation ago. The one at right is an older (1980s) class 455 unit on a stopping train from Weybridge to Waterloo.
