Loch Fyne Restaurant, Egham
A long way from Loch Fyne, but this historic building was a staging post for carrying messages from Cornwall to London during the Napoleonic War. It carries a plaque saying it is on the "Trafalgar Trail".

Strodes College
I was surprised to find that this distinctive school building was not listed. It looks older than it is (1919) but replaced two earlier buildings and presumably the school wanted to retain a more traditional architectural style.

The Crown Inn, Egham
We found this a pleasant country style pub on the edge of a town centre. I wonder if the teachers (or even older pupils) of the adjacent school frequent it?
