Thames towpath
A fine Honey Locust (Gleditsia triacanthous var. inermis) growing beside the towpath. The inermis variety lacks the thorns on the trunk which gives the tree its Latin name.

Penton Hook lock
The upper gates of this lock designed to allow sizeable vessels to progress along the river. This lock was originally built by the Corporation of London in 1814, the furthest lock upstream constructed by the Corporation.
