The horse field of Lower Sunbury
Apart from an Ash-riverside riding school the remaining horse field of Lower Sunbury. It’s contaminated at deep layers but scrub, trees and grass thrive here. No allowance for such areas nor bodies of water has thus far been made in local plans meaning it’s faintly earmarked for new housing. Most residents feel the area’s taken a motorway hit enough and like their Green Belt like this to offset that. But profit may prevail.
