The section to the east of the M3/A316 junction at Sunbury Cross is named Staines Road East and runs north east of Sunbury and past the Kempton Park racecourse.

Kempton Park Cut Grass Area
Some areas are mowed grassland to keep the park appearance neat. The line of trees marks the southern boundary with the A308. You can just see a street lamp above the tree line.
