End of the 30 limit, Faceby
There seems little point in having derestriction signs here at the southern end of Faceby village. The road only continues a few hundred metres further to High Farm and few would want to exceed 30mph on this narrow lane anyway.

Whorl Hill Wood
A long range shot taken from Cringle Moor and showing quite clearly the lettering EIIR produced by the foresters when they planted the wood in 1953 to mark the Queen's Coronation. Not being a tree expert I would guess the letters were planted with spruce against larch for the rest of the wood.
