Houses on West Green
The west end of Stokesley High Street merges into West Green where the character of the town changes from busy shopping street to a residential area around a tree lined green. There are plenty of interesting buildings, including this row of brick built 18th century houses.

Stokesley has a wealth of fine buildings from this period. Before Middlesbrough became the major centre locally, it was of more importance than now, second only to Northallerton in the North Riding.
