British Trolleybuses - Teesside
Normanby Road at Park Avenue. The British Steel (formerly Dorman Long) South Bank Works can be seen in the distance. The trolleybus was travelling towards Normanby. At this stage the two branches to Normanby and Grangetown had not been linked through Eston. This link was to be the last new stretch of trolleybus route to be built in the UK, and was in service for a mere 3 years from 1968 to 1971.
