The Middlesbrough to Whitby railway line
Runs directly behind James Cook University Hospital. A bank (from which the photograph was taken) has been created between the railway and hospital, perhaps to create a sound buffer for patients. Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge can be seen in the middle horizon.
