Castle Eden Walkway
The Castle Eden Walkway is a foot- and cycle-path which follows the line of a disused railway which traverses County Durham from north to south. Part of the National Cycle Network. The bridge carries the Trimdon Road over the line

Castle Eden Walkway
The trackbed path passes under a road to Trimdon through a corrugated iron lined tunnel. The original 1880 bridge must have been replaced at sometime by an embankment.
