Teesquay Millennium Footbridge
Opened in November 2000 the Teesquay Millennium Bridge is exceptionally well used providing a link between the University of Durham Stockton campus and offices on the south bank and the town centre on the north. At the time of opening it was criticised because of the lack of provision for cyclists.

Dunedin House
Dunedin House was part of a flagship development by the Teesside Development Council which used the building as its headquarters, entering into a 25-year lease in 1991 at an annual rent of £310,525. Since the TDC was wound up in December 1999, well before the end of this lease, the inheritors of its liabilities, English Partnerships, had to pay £1 million to get out of that lease. The building is now used for offices by a number of companies. It is seen here across the River Tees from Stockton's Riverside.

Commemorative plaque on the Teesquay Millennium Bridge
Looking slightly the worse for wear, the names of funding partners have all but disappeared. This footbridge links Teesdale and the Castlegate Centre in the High Street and, in the process, spans Riverside Road. It is of cable stay design supported by a 40 metre high mast.
