Southbound coal near Eaglescliffe
Coal for Drax power station heads south , just north of Eaglescliffe Station.
There are no coal mines left in County Durham sending coal south now.

Pacer Trains Passing at Eaglescliffe
The class 142 'Pacer' multiple unit has been a staple on Tees Valley services for many years. The units are due to be withdrawn by the end of 2019 as they do not comply with Persons with Reduced Mobility Regulations.
