Number 106 is brick built and dates back to the early 18th century, although the front appears to have been remodelled at a later date.

Town centre pub which dates back to around 1700. The building has been altered since, the frontage being rendered and 3rd floor oval windows being filled in.

George & Dragon PH, Yarm High St
The George and Dragon on Yarm High Street was the location of the promoters meeting of the Stockton and Darlington Railway on 12th February 1820. Meynell laid the first rail on 23rd May 1822 and went on to be chairman of the railway.

Wesleyan Chapel, Yarm
Situated to the east of the High Street, the octagonal chapel dates from 1763 and was described by Wesley as being 'by far the most elegant in England'. Some of the elegance is lost by the later additions. Submitted for this square as the 1:25000 map shows it some 50m from the grid line.
