Warren Cottage
The cottage stands beside the Cleveland Way and England Coast Path. The information board commemorates the youthful pioneering geologist Lewis Hunton from Loftus nearby. Hunton formulated the principles of biostratigraphy; unfortunately he died of tuberculosis at the age of only 23.
