Mural on bridge over Kilton Beck
The Mural represents Skinningrove from the fishing boats on the beach to the bridge itself with a noticeable emphasis on building work which has been going on as brownfield sites have been converted into modern housing, still nestling among decrepit workshops associated with the declining steel industry on the hillside above.

Formerly the Tom Leonard Museum. Ironstone was once a major industry on Teeside but this mine closed in the 1950s.

Loftus Iron Mine Drift
Three tracks once occupied this tunnel. A winch at the top hauled the ironstone (30% iron) out to be shipped to the steelworks.

Flood Damage Skinningrove
Not surprisingly this road is closed.After the heavy rain on Friday 6/9/13 the flood water damaged the bank and the wall and road edge fell in.
