The Nops Club, Bright Street, Middlesbrough
Formal name, the Ironopolis Social Club. 'Ironopolis' is a Victorian word, meaning the most important iron manufacturing town. Similarly, Bradford was called worstedopolis, as it was the Victorian centre of the worsted textile industry.
