Redcar bus station
Viewed from High Street, Redcar bus station bears the architectural hallmarks of a Tilling Group bus station of the 1920s or 30s. It seems to have been created by the demolition of at least one terrace house, resulting in the exposed gable end having to be bricked up. In the upper part of the gable can be seen the fading remains of an advert for United (in full United Automobile Services Ltd) the Tilling Group bus company who operated from here.
