Disc number 13 beside the River Gannel on the Newquay Discovery Trail
The Newquay Discovery Trail, written by David Faulkner, charts the growth, struggles and endeavours of one of the world's premier seaside resorts. From its origins as an ancient port to a haven for the gathering tribes of surfers visiting from all over the world today. Along the way, there are beautiful Cornish slate discs created by local sculptor Peter Martin with words containing clues to Newquay's rich heritage. http://wiki.newquaymap.co.uk/index.php?title=Newquay_Discovery_Trail
