Wheal Friendly, St Agnes
This picturesque engine house is Listed Grade II and was erected in 1902 for a 60" pumping engine. This engine had been built in 1863 by Harvey and Co and this was its 4th site. The mine closed in 1916. It had been worked at various times for both copper and tin. The engine house is on private land and was photographed from near Wheal Kitty (the photographer's position is approximate).
