Cottages at the Chapel Combe head
These cottages are at the eastern side of Chapel Combe where the road crosses the valley bottom. The sign at the front of one cottage says "Old Inn Cottage". If this was an Inn in the 19th century then it would have done good trade when the valley below was full of mineworkers.
