Pill Creek
Pill Creek from Pill Point at around low water. The tide is half way between springs and neaps. At low water on a spring tide the creek dries for most of its length and all the boats are stranded. On a full neap tide they would still float at low water.

Lych gate at the entrance to St. Feock's church, Feock, Cornwall
This one is interesting in as much that it has the facility of a stone bier for the coffin, and seats for the pall bearers to gather their strength before carrying the deceased down the steep slope into the church.

The Belltower, St Feock's Church, Feock near Truro
This is the only original part of the thirteenth century church. It contains three bells cast from one larger medieval bell. It has been suggested that the tower may be detached because it could also have served as a strategic lookout tower over the Fal River and Carrick Roads - now obscured by trees.

Stained glass window in St Feock's Church, Cornwall
We are not even sure if St Feock was a man or a woman but during the Middle Ages, in the registers of the Bishops of Exeter, the saint was always female. It is said that around 700AD the Celtic saint brought news of the Gospel to this remote area. St Feock's feast day is always on the Sunday closest to February 2nd.
