Maplin, shortly before closure
Truro's Maplin in its final days. The, at least 20% off everything (with some items reduced by up to 50%) certainly brought in more people than usual - but there were already a lot of gaps on the shelves too. Of all retailers that have bought the farm in recent years (including Woolworths), this is the one I shall miss the most.
