Stone circle at Higher Bussow Farm
This is an ancient landscape and there are many places where you can find stone circles, hut circles and standing stones. These were just in a small field adjacent to the lane.

Sad dovecote
This dovecote looked as though it was crying. It was at Mount Pleasent Farm. Note the spelling of "pleasent", not as we would expect but this is the spelling given on two different maps.

Cornish stile at Bussow Farm
A Cornish stile consists of a number of blocks of granite arranged so that they form convenient human steps across or over an obstacle yet prove insurmountable for stock. The lane into which this stile led almost proved insurmountable for this human. Granite is found in profusion in this landscape, hence its use in a stile.
