St Ives Harbour Hotel
It extends to both sides of the A3074, the main road into St Ives. Just a little further on on the right, it has a very well-placed terrace overlooking Porthminster Beach.

St Ives railway station
This is a branch line from the main line at St Erth. There is a tight turn around and even as I was climbing the hill away from the station the train was already departing on its next trip back to St Erth.

Hotel St Eia
This family-run hotel on Trelyon Avenue, overlooking St Ives, is named after the town's eponymous patron saint. According to legend she sailed across from Ireland in the 5th century AD to evangelise the Cornish people.
