HMS Wave rescue plaque, St Ives, Cornwall
"On 30th September 1952 St Ives townspeople rescued sixty-two crew members here by breeches buoy. For his courage during the successful salvage operation, local Pilot Richard Daniel Paynter was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Brave Conduct."

Dual Form by Barbara Hepworth - St Ives
The sculpture is situated outside the Guildhall in Street-an-Pol. It was completed in 1965 and presented to the St Ives Corporation in 1968 by Dame Barbara Hepworth DBE (1903-1975).
