St Ia's church tower from the Gardens - St Ives
The Gardens are tucked away near the Barbara Hepworth Museum on the hill. A quiet oasis away from the busy winding streets of the town. St Ia originally came from Ireland in the 5th century, and so the story goes - sailing over the stormy sea on a leaf God had given her for the journey. The church is 15th century.
