Cattle on Treve Common
There were far more than these three, grazing on the common. Heifers with horns, they look somewhat threatening, and I would have been worried if I had had to use the bridleway parallel with the telegraph poles. As it happens the footpath heads at right angles and they did not even see us let alone become interested in us.

Treve Common
Only a mile from Land's End, which complex can be seen in the distance, but a million miles away in terms of business and scenic quality (I'll leave you to judge for better or worse).

The field is in use as a base for the fleet of sponsors' vehicles and support vehicles which will accompany the Olympic Torch Relay, due to commence on the next day.
