Monument, St Levan churchyard
Many of the granite monuments in the churchyard of St Levan's church have a shaggy outer covering of lichen - an indicator of the cleanliness of the air in this remote corner of the country. Similar coverings are found on the granite rocks on the nearby clifftops.
